Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Both LCAs are the same length but the wheels are 1/4" off within the wheel well. What's more important: wheel centered in the wheel well or same length LCAs?
I have not measured front wheel to rear wheel yet but will when I get back to the car.
Most important thing is that the rear axle is pointed 100% forward. Its not uncommon to see side to side differences. Was the car ever in an accident, or show signs of the frame being pulled?
Car has never been hit unless the carfax/autocheck didn't catch it. I still have the stocks LCAs, I'll measure those for fun. Even if it's 1/8 in on one side and 1/8 out on the other, how exact should I expect the car to be? Anyone have any favorite reference points they use for chassis set up?
Personally, I'd just change them over to aftermarket parts (LCA and PHB), something like Founders would work. Your problem just might be that the factry bushings are shot and allowing too much movement.

Sorry, misunderstanding. I still have the factory LCAs in the garage after I swapped in aftermarket pieces. The holiday mod list was to cure the rattles and clunks my LCAs and PH bar were making, so I changed one end of all the links to poly. I also installed LCA relocation brackets while I was at it.
