I'm ordering a grocery list of suspension parts.. Has anyone here used 1 to 1.5 drop springs? Any suggestions, issues?

Nice Darren! I was on here checking out your build thread yesterday. Pretty nice man! Looks like its getting pretty close. With mine I was was just kind of worried about tire rub and stuff like that. My goal is to keep the car as stock looking as possible, but it has to have a good stance. Your first car, in your sig picture.. How much of a drop was on that?Originally posted by Darren View PostI just picked up 2 inch intrax drop springs yesterday.sigpic

It was low! I bought it that way and still have no idea what kind of springs where on it. If I had to guess I'd say it was 2.5-3inch drop from stock. I only scrapped going up and down my driveway, but I dud go through two sets of bumpstops since I always hit them. I ended up trimming the lat set I put on the car. I think 1.5 is the perfect drop, I'll let you know what these springs I bought do to my car. Probably closer to ab2" drop tho.sigpic

I have Tokico springs with Tokico blue shocks. I'd have to get the part # off the springs to see what amount of drop I have.

Yeah let me know when you can. Some pictures would be helpful too. I just want mine to sit down on the wheels a little, nothing too drastic. I found my motor/block this weekend. I have the pistons and rods already. Now I gotta buy a crankshaft, a cam, some AFR heads and an intake. Hopefully by fall we will be eating GT Mustangs!Originally posted by Darren View PostIt was low! I bought it that way and still have no idea what kind of springs where on it.
