So yeah, oil pump went out on my IROC, didn't realize it seeing as I didn't have a working oil pressure gauge. Got a nasty rod knock along with a valvetrain noise.

i got a 305 motor with 102k on it if u wanna buy one. its runs beatifully and doesn;t smoke at all

If you need help rebuilding or what not you know ill help ya. i did mine after i spun a bearing last sept. it doesnt take long just tedious work you have to do and make sure everythings clean and oiled when you put it back together.


i would suggest finding a 305 to replace it with for the time being for a couple hundred. and we can put your top end cuz if i remember right you have performance parts on your top end. oil press. senders come with most oil press. gages. you just need to get one for like 20 bux at autozone or something like that store i dunno what all ya'll got up in the lapeer neighborhood.

ill be up next saturday at the track. then im prolly gunna go to pattys....

Anyway, I can't afford to rebuild the motor or even buy a junkyard motor right now. There's just no money left. I had an Autometer Oil PSI gauge, and it didn't show anything weird.. For now I'll drive the Audi, but thanks for the support guys. I'll let you know what happens.

yeah last year i spun rod 1 bearing right at the gate when i was paying for milan dragway in august/sept. right about this time.
it sucks
and about that poker game hell yeah ill join. ill be up there from noon basically till whenever. unless i gotta work then after work ill be on my way to the track and after the track im going to give yall a call. or while im there for that matter.

def next sat. tomoro sat i have Traffic school only way to get my 100/65 ticket knocked to a 80/70 so its only a 2 pt instead of 6.
so from 8am till 5 pm ill be at that then i gotta bowl. next sat def. A'C' is suposed to come down from CMU. so ill be up for that def.
on the 16th my friend ill be at the track unless it rains then ill just be up there lol
i still gotta reset my valve lash and reclearance my valve covers my rockers are still touching i think
