Battery gauge drops when I'm at a light??

    thats a pretty common idle i thought. check your connections and verything something isnt getting power that it should

      Common idle and common problem. My stock 88' TA does the same thing. The 89' I previously had did the same thing. I've thought about putting a larger alternator in but have not got around to it.

        Well another thing that puzzles me is the battery gauge only drops at low idle ever so often. Some times it wont budge from the middle and other times it will go down to about 9-10ish. Makes me think of a bad ground but still not sure. I may just pick up an alternator anyway. Not sure how old the one is that is currently in it.

        And yes I do have a manual, I will look at it shortly.

          I have this prob too on my 87 Iroc LB9 but I asked on TGO and got a answer but its the wire 1 needs to be longer google it or go on that site or luck under my name sojer6mile
