Whell you need to tell us what you dream build is...
You need to determine what gear you have currently have and what you plan to do with the car.

ls rears a decent lower budget option. find a decent used one freshen it up install it. has definitely better discs than optioned thirdgens had, and they have posi. if you want to drop a ton of cash into a rear then the possibilities are endless

You want a powerful rear end... Rear ends do not produce power.

Your spelling is worse than mine.
Like I said before you need to figure out what gear you have right now. Changing the gear to a higher numerical ratio usually results in better accelleration.

A ford 9" is a very popular choice but they are expensive

if you have an auto ive heard 12 bolts are more streetable, the new fad is moddifying ford 8.8's as well but that takes some fabrications work. auto 3.73s and if you have a manual i saw your building a 383 id go with a 4.10 gear ratio. best bet is to find a rear end specialty shop and go in and talk to them.

1st choice you need to make is: 1. do I want a cruise car, 2. do I want a cruise car and one I will occassionally take to the track. 3 do i want a car for primarily running on the 1/4 with very little street use. Each choice could mean a different rear gear ratio.

if you run a 4th gen rear i dont think you can run your iroc rims either, could be wrong maybe someone else could chime in on that

the offset in the rear is all wrong correct? meaning those irocs will be pushed out really far?

Correct, I believe the 3rd gen rear is 2" narrower than 4th gen. Thus requiring spacers for 3rd gens to run 4th gen rims, and 4th gens not able to run 3rd gen rims
