keeping up with mattOdoom

just got dibbs on a 406 block... guy on thirdgen.org is giving me the pretty much new short block for 850 bucks... has less than 5,000 miles and built up pretty nice about the same parts wise as i had in my 383, but sence my car was messed with i found out one of my cylinder walls is cracked... so im just going to keep the 406 the way it is for now and toss in all my top end from the 383 which should give it a nice perk up from what it was... guy said he ran 12.5 with pretty much a stock setup and mild cam.. but once i get my interior all back together and the car looking nice again i might go with the 421 with the 3.825 stroke crank instead but for now its the same as what i had plus a few cubes so im happy not a bad price for a hard to find block... ill probably be picking it up laborday weekend or something its out a ways between lansing and GR but im happy get me moving again atleast...
