The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I put a new aftermarket weatherstrip on my passenger side door yesterday and am not real happy with it. Glad I didn't do the driver's side at the same time....
Does anyone know where to get GM originals? (besides Hawks Third Gen - $280 each!)
What aren't you happy with on the weatherstrip? Most all of the weatherstrip (even the OEM) will be a poor fit for a while.
It takes time for it to take the shape of your door or window channel.
Let the car sit outside in the hot sun for several days after installing it and it will start to take shape.
It can take several month's and even a year sometimes to fit well.
You have to give it a breakin period.

I'll take a picture tomorrow. The original weatherstrip had a plastic "core" molded into it, new one doesn't. The new part looks similar in size and shape, but I'm not at all happy with the fit.
Well I bought my weatherstrip for my Camaro from GM back in the late 80's and it was stored in the basement for about 20 years. When I finally went to install it it all crumbled in my hands.
So I went to NPD and bought the aftermarket weatherstrip that they sold there and it looked and fit just like the OEM weatherstrip.
