See the clothes hook near the top of the speaker grille? Unscrew that and then you can remove the grilles (just pull them up and out).

    They're 6x9 speakers.

I had Polk 4x6's up front and the 6x9's in the rear when I had my 89. Sounded pretty awesome

I would like subs but i wouldnt like how it would rattle the whole car, in my truck on the other hand i wouldnt mind. Turns out my rear speakers are not stock they are jbl gto 6X9's they sound decent igeuss. Going to save up and get a whole new system next spring prolly!

do it all right and it won't rattle. Dynamat is awesome. plus just cause you have subs doesn't mean thats all you need to here. They add so much dimension to any hide of music. I put a sub in my dads sebring he listens to country and oldies (well oldies to me). The amount of rattle has alot to do with how you tune ad set it all up. I run custom equalizers for what ever music I am listening to. The biggest rattle problem I have had in a 3rd gen is the flip down plate and if the rear spoiler isn't tight.

I had a set of JL 12s in the trunk and it didn't rattle.
