MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I know my idle is high but damn.................... help please
I know my idle is high but damn.................... help please
well for some reason my tach wants to tell me im idling at like 7k when im in gear and off the tach when im in nuetral does anyone have any idea what would cause this? is there a tach driver on the dist.? anything in the computer that would cause this? heres a few pics

and i check and it looks like the ign module one plug 2 wire goes to the coil and the other plug goes inside. so would a new ign module help this problem

There is a driver on the back of the tach that is a known problem.
so should i pull the dash out and replace the driver? or is the dash a full one piece assembly? im just not really sure what to replace or where to start. the engine bay is gonna almost be completely new this winter since its getting a heart transplant but if thats not gonna fix the ongoing problem for the past 3 years idk like to figure out what will
