Using LS1 flowmaster Catback on 85 iroc Z?

  • Using LS1 flowmaster Catback on 85 iroc Z?

    Hey guys my cousin want to try and swap my cat-back onto his 85 z-28 from what Ive read it is possible but I figured I would double check with some of the guys here what needs to be done?

    Ive read so fare the exhaust hanger need to be changed and the y-pipe will hook up different.
    01 NBM Base SS build #514 M6 Pat G/EPS 230/234 111+4 Cam, LS2 Heads, Tick Master,Extreme Chassis 8.8 with 4.30's, BMR LCA And Torque Arm, Edelbrock PHB, FIPK intake, Ported TB. Jet-Hot LT Headers TSP True Duals Tuned By SB Tuning

    Yep, y-pipe will be different and one exhaust hanger will have to modified.

      Other then that its no big deal though? Also How are the Hooker shorty headers as fare as the install goes do they fit well?
