Well I started this interior project about a week ago on my 1985 T/A. It's not going to bad so far although today I hit a snag.
I spent the first few days disassembling the interior plastic and cleaning it all, took some time but boy do they look great. Had to replace a couple of pieces but I found them over the weekend and replaced them too.
Yesterday I ripped out the old carpet and the floor board looked pretty good, one small "pin" hole through the drivers side floorboard though, good thing I work in an R&D lab that makes sealants for cars
I think I'm going to reinforce the rails that the seats bolt to as well, I can mix up a little home brew structural epoxy to do the job.
Oh yeah the snag, for some reason my hatch is not opening, and I thought oh well I'll just get the key...can't find the key anywhere, can I still get those from the dealership???
