anyone ship a hatch before?

wondering if anyone has shipped a hatch before. how did you package it and what shipper did you use? cost?

i did. i believe the shipper was either dhl or ups. i had it shipped to my local body shop to save money. came in a big big wad of bubble wrap. came through okay. i think i paid $400 shipped off ebay for my ta hatch. $275 for the hatch and $125 shipping.

I haven't shipped a hatch, but shipped a hood to CO one time. I used Greyhound. If they can fit it under the bus, they'll ship it. I think i paid $80 from here to CO. I would check their site for size requirements (http://www.shipgreyhound.com/) but it might fit. Only catch is you have to take it to a terminal to drop it off, and it has to be picked up from a terminal on the other end. You're in charge of all the packaging too. Enough bubble wrap should do the trick though.
