sick of not being able to see my gauges in the day and the bland look (although I like the style of the gauges much more then fourth gen ones).

Took the trim bezel and gauge cluster from the 87 parts car and am going to do a few things.

    *Prime & smooth bezel, paint
    *White face gauges
    *Possible bulb color change
*Add the shift light in the factory gauge
*Add A piller pod + gauges

What color do you think I should do the gauge bezel? Im thinking gloss black, but possibly silver.

Heres the stock color and texture:

    Stock gauge cluster:

    Primed!

    Ill update as I progress.

you gonna swap any of the factory gauges out? ive been trying to find 5 inch combo guages after market... you can find a speedo and tach to fit but the other ones are hard to do...

Nope, im using the factory ones. My speedo as varified by the police radar trailer thingy is dead on and my tach is dead on too (tested it vs a tach that hooks to your plug wire).

Sanded the primer down with wet 400 and re-primed it. Then sanded that down with 400 again, and painted.

Not perfect, but looks a million times better then stock!

Haven't ordered my white faced gauges yet.

You mean the little panel on the pass side that says "Performance Suspension"??

What other dash peices are there?

It just hit me how good this is gonna look with the gloss black trim and white gauges... can't wait!
