    well this is just ****ing great. i saw a way to were you spin the headlight gear 180* so you use the other side of it. while i was holding the headlight up (i had to take the arm off to spin the gear) i SNAPPED THE ****ING MOUNTING BRACKET. plus the gear is stripped like a mother ****ed. so i need a new motor and bracket. i found some for about 150$ for everything. or about 350$ for a new assembly. i guess 91 & 92 are special years.

    but i found a guy who will give me the entire assembly for 20$ but its from a 86. so know i gotta findout if that will work on a 91.

    im just having a great ****ing day.

      dude that sucks sorry to hear! so this means you wont be out on woodward anytime soon or still driving the car with that going on? Just buy a used one man off a parts car, and if that guy is willing to sell his for $20 just buy it and see if it will work its only $20...

          if the headlight bracket wont work. i can get my bracket welded and just use the motor from the one im getting.

          i hope....

          i gotta fix my brights now. lol

              lol yea really....

              i forgot to add i gotta get a new throwout bearing ( the clutch pedal is starting to feel crunchy)

              i also have a power steering leak. i gotta do taht this weekend.

              if everything goes as planned and works out i hopefully with have the

              headlight bracket and motor
              throwout bearing
              power sterring leak

              all fixed by monday night.

              so hopefully i can make it to woodward next week

                well on top of everything i cant get it to go into third. it just grinds when i try. idk if its my throwout bearing or if the trans is ****ed up.

                im really starting to regret getting another firebird and a stick at that.

                i should have just waited and found my 350tpi iroc t-top car i wanted.

                    well it did the stall and wont start thing agian after i put gas in it.

                    i turned up my ideal air screw a bit and now i hope i fixed that problem.

                    i took it for a drive and now it shifts fine. this car is pissing me off. i was babing it and driving slow i even tried to double clutch it and it would grinned. but now its fine. wtf? reverse has been fine. it doesnt act up anymore.

                    so my project this weekend is the throwout bearing and headlight

                    darren my dad was telling me theres something i have to keep presser on when i take my trans apart of it breaks. the slave cylinder or something? ill ask him later

                    also my clutch is feeling crunchy. im hoping its just the throwout bearing desinergrating but someone said it could be my clutch?

                    another day another problem. lol

                      When you are driving the car from a stop if you let of the clutch normal and accel does the car act right? Im only asking cause if so then I dont think your clutch is bad, but I also dont think a throw out bearing would make your clutch feel crunhy... A throw out bearing isnt hard to replace and you'll figrue out the headlight thing. Let me know if you want a hand I always like tearing other peoples cars apart!

                        it lets out ok. but it feels crunchy.

                        i know the throwout bearing is bad b/c it squills so i gotta replace it anyway. when i get in there ill check the clutch and pressure plate.

                              well everything is done besides my headlight. i did the throwout bearing

                              it had a plastic throwout bearing in it. i put a heavy duty metal one in it and it feels so much more smoother. but i still have a small squill im gonna put a washer on my slave cylinder to tighten the clutch up just a hair.

                              well the car started running like shit and wouldnt idle agian. my dad ran my car and i found out i had a bad O2 sensor. i replaced that and the fuel filter and my filter was coming out black. lol

                              so now i gotta tear my headlight apart and go see if i can get a new motor or not.

                                well i gotta new headlight motor and bracket and got everything installed.

                                i put them up and down once. then i realined the top cover on the passanger side. now they both wont go up or down(motor is not turning at all) but the lights turn on

                                wtf? if anyone knows please help asap.
