Hey guys I have finally gotten my funds back in order (from that stupid windshield crap) and now looking back into getting the body work done on my car and the car painted... I want your opinions! I am looking to keep the heritage stripe but I want to get it painted on but I want to know if I should keep the car white with the red stripe or paint it black with the red stripe! Post your opinions below and here are two pictures showing the different colors...

White with the red stripe would be factory...black with the red stripe would not be.

Question is...what do you want it to be?

JMO Darren but it's worth more if it's the original color.
And it will cost quite a bit more to change the color considering they need to paint door and trunk jams as well as under the hood.

I KNEW someone would ask this! I love the way both cars look, I always said when I got the car I was going to keep it the stock color because it was kinda more rare and you dont see it often at all. The car actually has the heritage RPO code with this appearance package... But that black and red looks so sexy and with the red interior with black dash just looks so good together... I guess im just looking for opinions to help decide!

Didn't quite think about that one craig, thanks totally food for thought now! I'll be getting quotes for both options just to see where I am at...

Just my $0.02 but I vote for black with red.

Another question you might ask is, "How much is your car worth with factory appointments?" From what I have seen even super clean 3rd gens are not worth a whole lot.

I mean you would be repainting the car anyway, which doesn't repainting decrease value anyway? Also are you planning on selling your car in the near future? I painted my car because I intend on keeping it for as long as I can so sale price would not mean as much to me.

Good luck in your decision. I hope you figure it out.

Well it takes alot of work to keep a dark colored car looking good.
