missing??

Ok, I picked up a 91 Z for $400 Looks Real good for the money but I think its got a miss. It sounds fine at idle, but when you bring up the rpms it sounds like its missin real bad, no backfires just missin. could that be timing??

Sounds like it needs a built and stroked motor with a little boost or juice if ya ask me

plug, wire, distributer......might want to start checking the voltage on that stuff first.

Too many variables without knowing the history of the car. You'll just have to start narrowing it down. One tip though...it's probably not timing with what you describe is happening....not saying it isn't ignition related.....
