  • So thats why they call it a FIRE bird!

Heres some pics of my new project car. I have an 87 that runs, but the body is pretty hit. So I found this "beauty" on Craigslist! Body is incredibly solid, its an 86. Only problem is the Quadrajet inspired bonfire that was held under the hood. Most of the interior survived, but the melted remains of the heater laying on the passenger side carpet and the melted heater vents give you an idea of the damage.

Anyone want to buy a slightly charred 305?

I think I have the harness covered, tranfering the one from my 87. I know some of the components for my AC are shot however, I'll let you know.

Slap a TPI in it and call it good!

If you own a carbed car, you should have a fire extinguisher mounted in your interior. They start on fire WAY too often.
