Yeh, GVWR is how much a car can tow, isn't it? Either case, he asked how much his car weighs so we all answered accordingly.

on the title for my 83 it says 3100 but thats with a t5 and those dont weight as much as a 700 r4 etc so like everyone esle has stated depends on what you have. The Original

yeah alot of people seem to be confused...
GVWR - GROSS vehicle weight rating... This is not how much your car weighs, its how much your car can weigh when its loaded down and packed to the gills.. Basically, its what your suspension is designed to carry at the limits.

I think the confusion is that everyone answered the question in his post and now everyone's nitpicking what his thread title is. He asked for the weight of his 84, everyone answered... issue solved, move along.- Brian Meissen
