Allright, I'm COMPLETELY new to the 3rd gens, just bought a 87 T/A (WS6 according to the wheels). Interesting problem is, it has a digital dash that is about 75% functional. So I've tried finding parts, info, anything on it... Nothing. Was this an option? Or an aftermarket add on? Anyone know a good source for one? Or any repair tips?

Looks like Jeff beat me to answering your question. He also offered up a good company for repairing these. Good luck and hope you get the problems fixed.
Just so you know it was option code U52 Electronic instrument cluster. It was available only in '87 and '88.West Michigan Pontiac Club
