    trying to make a decision

    Well I have found a 88 GTA.. I think I have said a few things on it before, but really am at a point where I would really like one..

    Moral dilemna I have a perfectly good 83 firebird that is very clean in my possession right now waiting for the rest of its parts to be installed and be driven.

    The GTA has a 30k LT1 good stout 700r4 but has its issues as well.. been outside for a long time, I do not see any visible rust has aftermarket fiberglass wrap around wing that needs to be properly re attached, interior needs so TLC, but I am a perfectionist when it comes to my vehicles..

    miss matched cross lace wheels.. asking 2300 would offer 2000.. your thoughts would be helpful..
    I know alot of it is I am DYING to drive mine and tired of the long wait.. Plus I want a GTA..

      No pics right now, its covered in snow, I test drove it last year and was very impressed .. But then again I have never owned a V8 FI sports car before..

      All I have to compare it to is my Buick..

      its a pearl white, grey interior, power everything-IE windows,door locks,seats-
      flowmaster exhaust, when I drove it I took it to a friend who is a body man and he said it looked sound enough and a nice paint job would make it 100% nicer.

        It sounds decent and the price isn't bad......so why not buy it. It would make a great DD while you are working on the '83, and you should be able to sell it for what you have invested afterwards if need be.

          well trying to justify it is bascially what I am doing..

              well I have seen other threads like this where the person WAS told to save his money, so I thought I would get a general consensus..

              Not to mention I drive by it and a beautiful vert everyday to work and it just calls out to me..

                  yeah...do you get it, or use the $$ and stick that into the 83?

                  How much nicer would the 83 be with another 2k into it?

                    I would be driving it..

                    I am probably going to just use the money around my house and on my two projects, cause then I will have those done so when I start another project I can focus all my time to it..

                    so if you know anyone looking for a GTA, send em my way.. the would not be sorry IMO
