Does anyone know how to remove the lock cylinder? I cant seem to figure out how to remove the panel that the lock cylinder is in. Im talking about the exterior panel between the tail light lenses. Thank you for any help

I think you have to take the talights off to get at the bolts.

Yep. Remove the taillights by taking off the plastic wing-nut things on the inside of the vehicle behind the carpet. After the taillights are off, the center piece between them should come off too. I'm not sure how the lock cylinder is attached to the car, but I think (on 4th gens at least) it's riveted on. Drill the rivets, and it will come right out.
