yeah but i was talking about the 30th camaro not the firebird so it was a 97. But anyways i went to vetters and had them run an alternator test. It was fine, my battery was shot. So guys next time winter rolls around remind me to take my battery out of my car cuz i don't learn from my mistakes

battery could've gone bad for other reasons than just leaving it in over the winter.

ya keeping a battery in the cold isnt going to straight up kill them... a good battery will still take to a charge... i left mine outside all winter just bought it last summer, still had 85% charge so not to bad. besides thats what warrantys are for... if you can manage to really kill the battery every year atleast you will leave with a brand new battery at the end of your warranty

yeah well i bought the car less than a year ago, the battery is a little over a year old, and around here you need to be the original buyer in order to get a new battery if your going with the warranty. I don't if i told you this yet, but it was a duralast, and it was not built to last. Duralast has got to be the worst company ever. If i do any stock replacements like fuel/oil filters, anything little, I go ACDelco.

Birds came out in '67. The Trans Am didn't come out until '69. How can you not know that?
