  • Finally took her out today.........

Yeah so I finally decided to take my firebird out today even though it's supposed to rain all next week. I started it up last week after I charged the battery. The thing I don't understand is I'm charging the battery again. Its not even been 7 days actaully. But I took some pics so here they are. Let me know what you think.

You need to get a Battery Tender. They only run about 30 bucks and they save a lot of headaches. They will keep you battery charged while your car is in storage for months. My car has been in storage since october and last Night I reached in hit the key and it started with no problem.

yeah, i was actually thinking about a 355 for it.Then i decided that instead of putting a 355 in it, i will just save that money i was going to spend and get a 93-97 z-28, hopefully a 1997 30th anniversary

              Woot for 97's!!!

P.S. Stupid question: My car is a '97 does that entitle it to the anniversary edition??? What I mean is can I put some of those cool decals on there and not get razzed??

1997 wasnt the 30th anniversary for the firebird, 99' was. The bird was released in 69. You have to have seen one of the cool 99 trans ams with the white on white with blue stripes and blue chrome wheels. Those were the 30th anniversary birds.

So the Maro came out in 67, but not the bird?
