need help

a friend of mine has a 87 trans am gta and the parking lights will not work. as soon as you put the fuse in the tail marked part of the fuse box and hit the light switch it blows immediatly.anyone have a clue as to what could be the problem? the switch itself is good.checked that out with my firebird.the brakelights work just fine.as do the turn signals.its just the parking lights.one more thing,is there a good site to get wiring diagrams for these cars at? thanks in advanced

Check your grounds, and check for shorts.

could be many things. shorted socket, wire, dimmer,foglight
