Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

So when I went to the track last at speeds of say 80-90 i had a bad vibration going, and only at those speeds. Well now the whole front end/ whole cab fis shaking violently and vibrating from speeds of 25 and up. It clears up at 60 and 70 cruising speeds but its not really drivable. Any ideas...
I'm going to check under there ASAP.
Please stay tuned because I always got questions lol.
I had a BAD Vibration at 60mph and up.
It was the stock yolk that went into the trany.
If it's like min it should have a rubber damper with a steel ring on the out side of it.
I blew mine racing and I didn't find it for 2.5 yrs. because I didn't know about the damper.
I switched to a solid yolk and that fixed my isue.
If you have a respectiable drive line shop I would take teh shaft to them and have it checked.
It is posible that you blew a belt in you new tires also.

Is it a shimmy, or a vibration? Do you feel it in the wheel, or in the seat of your pants? Check the Driveshaft for sure. If you need one I have a good stock shaft I can let go really cheap. Also check for a loose wheel, or bad front wheel bearings. It could also be a really bad ball Joint. Good luck
okay there is some small fluid puddles under the car near the rear end. also i swiped a fresh drop of pink tranny fluid off of the exhaust. the puddles arent pink but they dont have that nasty rear end smell to them. i am very confused. the puddles arent oil and are not trans fluid, so it looks like rear end blood.
im so confused and T'd off.
i revoke that last statement.
it appears as tho that link/bar the the drive-shaft runs parallel too and the rear end sits on, is where the tranny fluid is dripping down to the ground from.
hmm..
