Go over to Thirdgen.org and look up ebmiller88. He is usually in the Brakes board and can provide you with all sorts of info and/or parts. I got 98+ (LS1) fronts from him a few years ago, very good to to business with.

Did you get into the sugar again?Originally posted by MP81 View PostThat is true.
Wanna know a secret? If your entire engine compartment matches your exterior, you get what they call "match power". What happens, is the combination of matching colors of the exterior and other parts in the engine bay, (like engine covers, plug wires, pulleys, engine blocks, distributors/coil packs, air filters, air filter housings, etc.) combine to form a sort of super-power-boost. Kind of like, how all those little Power Rangers mechs/vehicles combine to form that one big thing.
So, basically, the more color matching you have (to get the biggest "match power" boost, it is a good idea to match 95% of your engine bay to the exterior color), the bigger boost of power you have.
Adding dyes to your fluids (coolant, windshield wiper fluid, headlight fluid, VTEC fluid) to match the rest of the exterior/engine will increase the match power boost by 150%, since this is just so super cool. Better yet, make sure everything (including fluids) GLOWS. That adds another 100% increase to the match-power.
I haven't even told you how much a good match power boost is worth alone.
Get ready.
400% over your base power.
So, lets take an ideal situation.
Stock (we'll use a mad tight Honda engine, with VTEC (that comes on), blinky lights and other fancy jazz that makes it so "sweet"): 200 HP.
95% Color matched. - 400% over stock
Fluids Dyed (VTEC fluid included) - 150%
Everything Glowy - 100%
So, in total, that adds 650% to the stock engine, without any actual expensive mods.
That gives us 1500 HP!!!!
Torque doesn't matter, since it's useless, otherwise Hondas would have torque.
So, everyone. Get your match power goin!
