  • what the heck is my problem??

Ok.. I need to figure out this problem and fix it... Quick.

Ok when i start off and accelerate quickly.. or attempt to... the car will try and die... RPMS drop way down and it sounds like it dies but then picks up.

Attempting at a burnout the car died as soon as i tried spinning the tires... restart get them spinning again and can barely get over 1500 rpms and it dies again... put it in reverse and it dies all the time...

Right now the only way i can really drive is i have to manually shift the car and its an automatic... start off in first rev it high then slide up to second... any ideas or places i should check into?...

I've been told the TPS but i replaced it and it still does it.

O2 sensor? Vacuum leak? And have you changed or checked your plugs, plug wires, or your ignition?

if u had a vaccum leak it prolly would not idle very well, jump up and down ect..

sometimes you an hear it too

you'd be suprised how easyily a hose can become dry rotted and cracked

And check your carb or throttle body. It sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me

Yeah. They might have been fouled out. Or they might have to much carbon built up on them
