if you have a breather on your valve cover you dont 'need' a pcv system..

Positive Crankcase Ventilation. Its not something you just buy, Its set up for your motor, like hoses ran from valvecovers to a vacuum source with check valves and stuff. Are set up differently for different motors. Figure out how the one on your motor is supposed to see and see what parts your missing and complete it. Hope this helps!

You need to find out if you have anything in place now thats relieving the crankcase pressure? If the engine is sealed without either a breather or PCV, or both, the pressure in the crankcase will rise to the point where it will blow every seal and gasket in that motor. If you are running with an open breather, or PCV opening the motor is going to become a greasy mess in a hurry. And if it had a PCV line thats missing, you will have a bad vacuum leak.
