  • please help

    i am not going to hook up the ac in my car and the ac stuff under the hood is in the way the big box thing that is bolted to the firewall can this be removed or what is behind it i kinda need to know fast because i need the engine out of the car so i can put the new one in.

    You can easily remove the silver dryer.

    The big box, well do you want heat in your car? If you need heat, dont remove it unless you get a special heat box, i saw one on craigslist awhile back

      i thought the heat box was to the left of the ac box are they conected under the dash of the car

              See if you can find a non a/c blower box, it clean that area up significantly.

                Yeah remove it. Mines gone.
                I bought a non a/c box off Matt.
                Cant wait to tackle that project! Thats one of my projects I have to do.

                I'm thinking a 10# sledge will come in handy. LOL......I was told thats the way to get it out.

                    i have everthing for the ac except the piece that goes on the engine it's in my for sale thread under i need to sell something fast or something like that.

                      arent those non-ac boxes kind of hard to find? make sure you have one before you take it out (if you do).

                          is the compressor the part that bolts to the engine and runs off the belt. i dont have that piece.
