I had a 350 tpi, putting in an LS1/T56. I bought a 99+ tank to get around the fuel pump (Tpi f/p won't last long at LS1 fuel pressures) from a guy parting his car out, so that was cheap. Engine trans & pcm was $3000 a few years ago. You'll probably spend less in the long run just going LSx, and even if it is a bit more, it'll be newer/more effecient. Just my

Tpi Power
hello I like the question, so I thought I would give my opinion. I have a 305 With a Tpi and to be honest I hang with most 5.7's I have made slight adjustments to the prom and throttle body. I would encourage keeping the Tpi that was the greatest thing the camaro offered in the mid 80's. granted their is allot of test and tuning to do but once you found the sweet spot you will be very impressed with the throttle response, efficiency, and over all power . I was at the same cross road but before I gave up I did tuning and I will never look back from the Tpi again.
