yes there is a radiator and it is full of coolant. but first i have to fix the carb and replace the fuel line and then i will try that.

thank you for all your info but we started to do everything you guys said and we started up the engine it ran for a few seconds and the engine blew up and the smoke was so bad it was hard to see anything and we had the garage door open and three windows open. also in one of the cylinders on the passenger side sounds like something is bouncing around in there.

well my sisters boyfriends cousins uncle has a stock 350 traget crate engine that is 1 year old they said the starter died on it so he got the truck rolling and started and drove it home then took the engine out and it is sitting in his garage but i have no way to here it run but he says it runs he wants $250 for that 350. i also know where i can get an engine it is ether a stock 305 or a stock 350 not sure but the want $350 for it and the they will garanty it with a waranty that it runs. which would you say is bestComment

hey i got everything off that i need to be able to get the valve cover off and get a wrench to the crank but what do i need to listen for because the only thing i found that was out of the ordinary was 3 rockers were a little loose which that could explain the rattle but not all the smoke can anyone help with what i need to listen for to see if a rod is bent or any thing else that would make the engine blowLast edited by beardy2; April 12th, 2008, 09:50 PM.Comment
