Not a fan of Nexen tires or other Korean cheapo tires. 4.5" backspacing is the right backspacing for 8" wheels

One more question, which tire would you guys use?
225/40/18, 235/40/18, 245/40/18,225/45/18, 245/45/18 and 255/45/18
The bottom three choices add $60.00 dollars total, but I wouldn't mind. Like I said I want the best.

Anyone else? What tire combo looks good or what would the benefits be?
I was thinking getting the 245/40's up front and 245/45's in the rear, does that make sense?Last edited by jakes_GSXR; March 31st, 2008, 06:55 PM.

The 255/45's are going to be taller as well as wider. I'd have to look up specs to see just how much difference in height there is between a 245/40 and a 255/45. It'll give you some rake but there won't be any rotating tires if they are directional and if they aren't you can only swap side to side.

it depends on the quality of the tire. thoes arent a very expensive tire.. and they aren't very wide either. i'd look into a 17x9.5 so you can put a 275 width on it.Originally posted by 86Camaro View PostI found these...
