he wants to put in my 3:73's but we think not sure that he is running 3:42's
wants 3 spd for the track but 4 spd for the rd at a sensible price. this is a nice budgeted build that has been getting a little more done every winter the only prob is that he drives it all summer and stores his probe for winter use only. cant really afford to put 2 cars on the rd at one time and in this day and age im starting to fall in line with that cept for the amount of money wraped up in the ride.

If he's able to pick up a 700r4 he really should be fine with 3.42's as those have a deep first gear. I'd verify the gears before I made any changes/plans.

he likes the fun part oh so much..

thats what i run is an older 700r4 no electronics in the newer car with 3:73
first is way to quick but nice for showin off.

As soon as the money gets in my account im' going all out and im' getting under the car pulling the cover off and find out what the hell i have, The kid i bought the car from had no idea what the car has, so im' finishing what someone else tried to finish, but i don't play around i take alot of pride of what that car has done to it compared to what it looked like when i first bought it. Mark my words my days of running 14's at the track are over.

psht the kid I bought my car from didnt know wtf he was doing to it. I could of died driving it home! Drilled 4 holes into the gas tank to mount his amp..and I didnt want the system he had in it (have my own) he had to unscrew the screws from the hole...long story short..

Holes got bigger,filled up @ gasstation, came back out to car I see all my $30+ gas on the ground and get slapped with a nice bill to have a new gastank put in


and now he drives a firebird

Im' going out to the shop this weekend to get the ball rolling, I will post some new picks. Here's the list of what is being done

1. ordering new headlight panel.
2. Taking my wheels in for powdercoating should take at least 2 weeks.
3. Finish dissassembling my motor thats on the stand
4. Buying my Vortec heads.
5. Pulling cover off of rearend to verify what i have.

I will keep everyone posted on the progress, can't wait to get back to it
