H.I.D. For Third Gen

I was wondering if the was a place that made HID conversion kits for the third gen camero. I see the cheap kits on ebay and stuff. Has anyone done this

I'd get the sealed beam conversion kit and then buy the HID kit off of ebay. I have them in my 4th gen and there sweet! The brand I have is MKS and I have had no problems with them and there also 8000K's which is a nice light blue and it lights up the road nicely

Stay away from the kits for the 3rd gens on ebay. I had them in my old bird and they got so hot they started to melt the sockets. At least the 1's for the Firebirds.

x2 be careful. My brother in law bought some for his dodge truck on ebay. Melted his sockets and some wiring. When he complained they offered him a new set of bulbs

Anyone know what ebay companies are good for sure? The price can vary so widely from other websites that I don't see it worth the hassle buying from them. My theory is that most places end up with the same kits, and put different stickers on the ballast. I'm considering an ebay brand for my H3 driving lamps.

I'd find a site that says which bulbs work safely and go from there. I won't buy a conversion kit every again off ebay. Wasted $40, they where nice though till they started melting the plugs.
