  • Headlight Problem

When my lights are on low beams they both work fine but when I turn on my high beams, one of the low beam lights turns off. lol This is probably a stupid question but I can't figure out what's wrong with it, so does anybody have any ideas as to what might be causing the one light to turn off?

Yeah, or some type of short, but that doesn't seem right.

      That's weird... Try wiggling wires?

I've tried wiggling wires but it hasn't helped. I haven't checked for grounding problems yet though so I guess I better do that

The camaros don't have the crazy headlight modules like the firebirds do they, otherwise, I'd look there. Kept having some headlight issues with my GTA and that was the problem.

Yeah, a relay issue could be the culprit too...electrical gremlins suck.

Try replacing that headlight. I had a similar issue with my car. You see headlights have 2 filaments, it sounds like one of them may have gone bad. It may also be a pigtail needing to be replaced. Good luck Angel.

I thought the low beams always went out when you turned the high beams on. Some government mandate about putting out too much light, which is retarded since you're only supposed to use your brights when no one is around anyways.

I think I might have had the headlights on in the IROC once this year and never was outside the car with the highs on. I know any newer vehicles the lows always go off as well as fogs when you turn the highs on.

My brights don't even work, plus the fog lights blow the fuse. Haven't look into that yet. I'd check the switch like said above.
