3rd gen fuel filter...where is this damn thing?

Where did you get a vented cap Matt.....just any auto store? I got rid of my charcoal canister, pluged the lines....I was told to get a vented cap. I went and got one.....But I still here the pressure letting go when I go to fill up. Maybe they gave me the wrong one????? I was going to take a small drill bit and go right threw the cap LOL!!

Okay couple things to keep in mind, first of all, DONT drill a tiny hole in the cap. Thats how I tried it first, when you take sharp right turns (as I often do) gas runs down the side of the car. There is a little diaphragm valve up by the gas tank called the "UFO". What I did is completely remove the charcoal evap lines while I was cleaning my floor pans and replaced the UFO with a filter. I use my stock gas cap with that vent.

Sorry Todd I had a brain fairt when I wrote that. The UFO lets air IN, to replace the gas when it is consumed. Its just a one way valve. So if you want to vent the tank you can take the UFO off and put a filter on.

Um, why? BTW, there is only vent line bundled with feed, return and rear brake line.
