cherry bomb is the name of the company they make glass pack and cheep turbo mufflers for power and price you cant beat the cherry bomb name... but they rust out pretty quick... i like the purple hornies too just a glass pack that bolt onto the headers... i was thinking about it for mine but its loud now... so probably not... maybe if i had a truck or something higher off the ground you feel ever vibration when your only 6 inches off the ground even the echo of your own exhaust hitting the ground...

i would guess they would be but i dont know... it sure a cheep way to get... good flow.. ha ha all it is, just a cherry bomb that bolts onto your header so even with long tube headers your still going to have your mufflers come out right under the seats at best but you can get turn out tips on them to shoot it down or out... i think they are like 38 bucks each through jegs and summit... but im talking loud specailly on a good flowing engine... i bet you couldnt drive aroudn without getting pulled over more than a few times... atleast not in the city

I don't necessarily think it could be louder than a LM seeing as its just a 4" piece of pipe with absolutly nothing in it. I think that a V8 would make more noise too so I don't see the 6 as being louder.

My V6 is loud as hell for a 6, but I wouldn't glasspack a V8. I would do what I did to the Monte Carlo. 3.5" dual exhaust (true dual) with a pair of Flowmasters on it. I love that sound. But, for a six, the glasspack would deff. give you more bang for your buck.
