    77z28 6spd?

    I am wanting to swap my 4spd out for a 6. Has anyone done this on a 2nd gen consol car? I am not wanting to have to pull the consol out of have to mod the trans tunnel. Im thinking it should fit but wanted to make sure.

    We did this in Doug's 74 with a console. You will have to mod the tunnel hole though.

      Will the original consol still fit? I dont mind if I have to open the hole a bit, I just dont want to have to pull the consol.

        Yes, it still fits but if I recall we had to trim the opening a little.
