  • MrMojoRisin's Exhaust Pt. I

So I know all of you today were thinking, "Jeez where has Matt been."

Yeah, well Ill tell you, was out at Snyders (mrmojorisin) helping out with a few others put his new long tubes on. Didnt get the dual 2.5" with aerochambers on yet, but the majority is done now.

Ill let the pictures and movies speak for themselves.

And 4 movies. (in car ones are BEFORE headers, obviously)

It sounds pretty sweet with the headers. Can't wait to see what it sounds like with the Aero Chambers and the H-Pipe. Thanks for the help and taking the pics and movies

Oh and to explain this pic. We didn't dent this taking it off, the exhaust shop that put the exhaust on did this for some reason. It was in a wide open spot under the car, so it wasn't to clear something.

Nice job! I like the sound. The pics crack me up too! Almost like I am doing the work myself on my back under that car!

Well Friday before we started doing the exhaust I noticed the pump was leaking so I got a new one. Well Friday when we ran it open headers it was making a noise, and we just thought it was from the pump. Well replaced the pump and it was still making it. So it might be my pump push rod or a lifter or something of that sort. But yeah the exhaust is all in, I just need to put a pair of rubber hangers up by the exhaust, then it will be all finished. I did get to hear with the exhaust all the way on. Sounds pretty nice at idle, alittle mellow b/c of my cam. I didn't get to hear it at anything higher than idle b/c of that noise.

If you do these headers you have to move your shift linkage somehow. FIgured that out when I went to turn the car around so I could pull the engine out and I couldn't shift into Drive. Had to have my dad stick a broom handle to push the linkage out of the way while I shifted.
