    My work on 79z progress

101_0015.jpg101_0013.jpg101_0012.jpgI haven't been on for awhile. I miss talking to some of you on this site, but life goes on. My husband and I have been real busy. I wanted to post some more progress work on the 79z. We have the motor in now and running (still needs a little work). We got the jambs painted, cleared and doors, fenders, trunk lid, and hood back on. We are trying to work on lining up the fenders and doors exactly the way they go (what a pain!!!). Then we will be getting the wet sanding finished and then paint. So here are some more pics. Enjoy.

Yeah we sold the 81 black sport coupe and the 80 original (sorry), but we still have the RS that we put in the back behind the shed to store till spring. The 79z is in the garage we are currently needing help with lining the body (doors and fenders). Would love for anyone interested in meeting us to give us a helping hand so stop by anytime. We really would like to get her painted so we could drive it around. We love are camaros! My husband has just started the 79z a couple times and did a few burnouts in the driveway LOL. I think it sounds pretty good. Thanks for your comments guys.

Wow a 13 yr. old boy sold his livestock at the Allegan county fair! Saved up his own money for it. Loves camaros and plans on restoring it before his 18th birthday. I thought pretty deserving of a hard working boy to buy it. Truly cares about classic camaros. He was eying it and hoping to buy it for over a month.

I'm glad to hear it went to somebody who's gonna appreciate it.Wow 13 years old and went through all that to get it.When I was 13 a car was the furthest thing from my mind but I'm glad to hear it all worked out for him in the end.
