Hey Leisa! Thought I'd drop by and see how things were going with the rebuild thus far. Haven't seen you on in a while. I've been slowly bring mine up to speed. Got a new fender and decklid waiting to go on, as well as some minor ruse repair. Picked up a welder the other day, so I'll be moving forward with things pretty quick here. Threw in a set of poly body mounts on the front subframe yesterday (well, gotta dig into the body and weld a nut for the #2 position one) and it really made a difference in the ride height. That alone reminds me of the day I brought her home. Can't believe it's coming up on 20 years that I've had the car, wow.sigpic

Hi Steddy,
Yeah I have been visiting the site, but unfortunately haven't had a lot of progress with the camaro. On June 19th my husband had to go to the hospital. He's had a heart attack at the age 35 and had a stent implant. June 21st they did a cathaterization and discovered that the old stent was blocked and he developed new blockage as well. They also found the artery is calcified and they couldn't remove the old stent either or place any new one in. He's home now, taking meds and has to go back to the doctors on July 26 to see if they are going to attempt to try and remove it again or just do bypass surgery. In the mean time he has been getting more tired (like today) he fell asleep at 12 and woke up at 3 in the afternoon. It's his Left circumflex artery that is blocked. Please pray for us that he is fine till he goes back July 26th and we decide what we are going to do next. I want to get the camaro project done, but gonna have to pull it out for awhile. I will post up more 79z pictures of the progress soon. Thanks for wondering though. I enjoy talking to some of you, and looking at all the camaro pictures on the site.

I wanted to let you guys also know that we brought it home tonight (towed). My husband fired it up and backed it into the driveway....! WOW, it's better in person than the videos! It's all I can say...Can't wait to complete it now so we can enjoy her before winter. Yes please keep praying for my husband about that appointment coming up. We really haven't been wanting to think about it. Just trying to take care of important stuff in the meantime. Projects around the house and the cars.

Just to let all of our Mifbody friends know my husband went to the doctors, and they said they want to see him in 2 months. They also said he is doing fine and that he WON't need surgery!!! I'm wanting to say thank you to the ones that prayed for him on here. It's really hard to explain, but the hospital didn't communicate very well and his cardiologist looked up a few things and changed some of his meds. He's young and as long as he is feeling okay he doesn't need surgery. Thank you.

I'm glad to hear that he's doing better and probably better day by day as time goes on. Can't wait to see the '79 in person!Originally posted by Faame06 View PostJust to let all of our Mifbody friends know my husband went to the doctors, and they said they want to see him in 2 months.
