  • 4th Gen Interior In A 2nd Gen

Came across a pic of a '76 Firebird Formula. It has a '99 (maybe '98, maybe there's no difference between the two) Z28 interior. Not the entire interior, the door panels are the deluxe '78-'81 Firebird door panels. This car is pretty badass, he also has an LS1 under the hood, can't find the pics at the moment, but I may have posted them before.

Not sure what he did for the rear seat, but it looks pretty cool.

very cool. It's amazing what people can do to their interiors. I'll admit, after seeing the work Mike did to his, a custom dash + interior sounds like an awesome idea.

When doing an LS1 swap it makes sence to use a late model dash so that everything works. WMCCRXpower has 4th gen seats in his '70SS. Front seats bolt in and for the rear he had an interior shop remove the rear 4th gen cover and cut and restitch it to fit the 2nd gen rear seat. It looks awesome and the way the 4th gen seat holds you in , it is like you did suspension work
