it claimed to be what they posted but when i called them the owner stated his son may have been overzelous with some of the claims

but as i am looking at all of his photo's including resto its all leading to this

    a REAL!!!! Y82 Special Edition

the back story is i am the 4th owner - the first was a drug dealer that purchased it ar Superior Pontiac/Cadillac in Flint, a year or so later he dropped it of at a local shop for some work but wound up getting arrested before he could pick it up. He apparently died in prison and the shop owner filed for a mechanics lein which was converted into a title - his intention was to entice his daughter to lead a better life but she choose not to and as a result the vehicle sat for 24yrs - in comes the 3rd owner that wanted it and restored it as best he and his friends could - the truth is aside from the graphics the paints not bad - also this vehicle has almost zero rot and or zero signs of rot anywhere it counts

            Looks pretty good
Although the 8" Snowflake Wheels are incorrect (they weren't available till `78) they are a great upgrade. Also needs the correct Formula Steering wheel.
Still a great find at a great Price.

sorry yes - my bad I started dosing off last night and just sent what i had

what i was trying to say was the vehicle is 90% restored - meaning needs some interior odds & ends, im starting to believe the miles may even be correct if the owners story is to be believed. In addition to the options listed one interesting note is that it has all power options but was only ordered with an AM radio - but they did order the 8trk stereo option

I'm definitely jealous. You know you will have to do the Bandit Run now right?
I did not realize that Pontiac installed Olds motors in birds in the 70's.
