  • heaviest f-body?

anybody know what the heaviest f-body is. Stock of course. Maybe a list would be great. I just found out i have the heaviest 4th generation f-body the convertible ws6. Dont really care cause i love convertibles. If i had a guess would probably be a big block first gen but would somebody shine some light on the situation.

yup.. i'd say yours is likely one of heaviest..

      A4, convertable, WS6..

Unless there is an LT1 version that is heavier... which is possible.

weighed mine at the strip and was 3800 with me in it (200 lbs) and 2 12's amp and huge box. ( probably altogether 100 lbs. So roughly my car is 3500 lbs. Which is probably lighter than stock cause my stainless lt headers and ory is definitly lighter than the stock exhaust manifolds and catalytic convertor stock y pipe.

I wouldnt count headers/ypipe as much of a weight savings.. a couple pounds at most. doubt you'd even measure a difference on the track scale.

Actually Guys the heavieat F-body would be the `74-75 Trans Ams.
The new federal bumper regulations forced them close to 4000 lbs.
