Hi all, just a question for anyone that knows. My car need a new belt tensioner pulley, along with a new AC tensioner pulley. After searching around the repair shop couldn't find the pulleys anywhere, so they are ordering the parts direct from GM. The problem is that they do not sell just a tensioner pulley, only the whole assembly. My question is that the AC pulley and the tensioner pulley are alike in every way, does anybody know if these pulleys are the same part #? Of course GM wouldn't tell us because then they would lose money. But if if can just buy 2 Ac pulleys and put one in place of the tensioner I would save money, does anybody know if this will work?

Thanks, from what I'm seeing it appears they are the same part number.
