02 sensor question

I'm installing headers on my girlfriends 99 Z28 and screwed up the passenger side pre-cat 02 sensor while removing it from y-pipe. Can the post-cat 02 sensors be used in pre-cat positions? I'm installing an off-road y-pipe so will be using 02 sims in the post-cat areas.

Its possible.. check to see if theyre the same amount of wires or even try checkin out autozone to see if theyre the same part #.

yes
many use the downstream 02's from vette's too cause they have long enough wires you don't need extensions

And supposedly they have hotter heaters in them too.
