  • Wheel Shake

Can anyone tell me what this is when I'm braking at access speeds over 70 mph it feels like the rear wheels are shaking so bad it shakes the steering wheel, it only happens when I'm braking from 70 or higher.

that means your tires aren't balanced correctly on the front more than likely (most common casue of constant shake) it will ruin the tires eventually

well i had the same problem, got new pads and rotors all the way around and it rides great. no shake when driving or braking. Turns out my front rotors were warped which caused the shaking. They said it happened either by me slamming on the brakes, or what happens alot is people wash thier cars right after driving them and the brakes are hot and the water will warp them. Geting new rotors and pads will fix the problem! javascript:emoticon('')

riding the brakes is actually more common cause for warped rotors, as well as a cheap replacement (or oem junk gm rotors come from teh factory warped)

Regardless, new pads and rotors will solve the wheel shake issue!!

just don't have them turned (I haven't found too many shops that can do it right anymore)
