  • Firehawk Experts Question

Hey guys. I think I have finally fully realized what I want to do with my car. I want to build a Firehawk clone. From what I can tell the body components are pretty much the same. What else is different in a 4th Gen firehawk besides engine, trans, suspension? Also, If anyone has any pictures of any 4th gen early or late firehawks please post them. Thanks again folks!

Now this one has the V6 hatch why is that? Was that an option on these?

Oh and if anybody finds any steals on a late 4th Gen Formula Firehawks in black please let me know!

Depends on what was ordered from SLP with the Firehawk package...it varied from year to year. Even wheels could be different depending on the year.

As for your V6 hatch question, it's a Formula Firehawk and not a Trans Am Firehawk...you could get a Firehawk on either package.

I've seen prices for mid-90s Firehawks anywhere from $9K to $15K...it would likely be cheaper just to buy one than convert yours over.

      All `93-`97 Hawks are Formula's
      There were No production`98 Hawks
The FireHawk package was available on Formula's and Trans Am's starting in `99.
The uplevel T/A spoiler was available on hawks in `96-`97.

Not anymore. SLP is desperate for money and will sell parts to anyone now. You can find them for sale on ebay all the time. When the car was still being produced they required a VIN to buy parts.
