  • Alternator Rewire Kit

    http://www.zzperformance.com/product...10d761cbb4010d

I seen that at zzperformance and it says it is for GPs, but I was wondering if this type of thing would help our cars out as well? Any ideas if it would be worthwhile, or anyone have any opinions on this?

at least usually for ground I use a 0 gauge strap, your system is only as good as teh smallest cable, if your running a sound system and need 4 gauge go 1 gauge on the battery

i have redone all my ground straps and all the positive straps...grounds, starter, alternator and more. I used gold plated terminals and all and running my car reads 14.9 volts which helped with my lights, window motor speed, stereo, and all.

If ya want it done PM me for prices or i can make you the cables and you can install

Well I talked to zoomer at zzperformance.com and I went down to their shop today. I am the fbody R&D car for them and got the alternator rewire kit made today. So now if you need one they know the size to make it for the 3.8l guys.

I will let you know what improvements I have after tonight, I am going to get a haircut and then installing it.

well, I got it installed and I like the change. My system seems to hit harder and I can turn it up a little louder without it getting distorted. Haven't checked lights or anything yet, but overall it was a good mod at least for my system.

window speed seems pretty much the same, still pretty slow, lol.
