What does it mean? I see it used all the time when talking about 4th gens but have no idea what it is. I was thinking a hardtop but then I seen a car for sale that said it and it had t-tops/

SOM (Sunset Orange Metallic), NBM (Navy Blue Metallic), MBM (Medium Blue Metallic), MRM (Maple Red Metalic), And there are others like Arctic White, Silver Metallic, Sebring Silver Metallic, Mystic Teal Metallic Clearcoat, Flame Red, Bright Purple Metallic, Cayenne Red Metallic Just off the top of my head

Sunset Orange Metallic, GM also had a color called Sunset Gold Metallic, i don't think it was on f-body's but it was offered for the silverado and avalanche's i know...
